Sea water reached to the small pass between my house and sea at last high tide in February. We had well near the shore before, but we should have moved it more close to my house, it is about 15m, because sea water go inside the well when the high tide comes. We shifted its place around 1996.

There are many coastal erosion on this island. However, on the other hand, there are new land made from piling of sand in front of my house. There was passage for the boat but the sand already pile it and no boat can pass there now. Kaupule boat used to anchor in front of the Kaupule but the boat started to be anchored in front of NUICFC in 1991 or 1992 because its passage was blocked.
